Hello all,

This may be a silly question but I was wondering how save set controller numbers to a device.
I tried doing presets but they are lost when the project is reloaded no matter how i try & save.
If i remember correctly, there was a button to save the device in pulsar 2 - am i missing it or is it not there?

Any info is appreciated - Thanx

Indeed, I used to save the device too. You can still do this, but only with devices with the old Pulsar2.x preset interface (like Bigmixer)

ok - preset projects as just setup a project w/ all the numbers like you want and then save?

So I guess that would technically mean that you can have multiple saved projects using the same devices but have different controller #s?

I guess thats the only solution since we can't save devices in 3.0

maybe that should be something for them to have an upgrade about - maybe thats too small a detail...heheh

Indeed, midi channel and CC# are saved inside a project.
A lot of devices I saved that way, I first backup'ed the devices. After saving in Pulsar (till version 2.04 as far as I know), I renamed them and put the channel number in the name. Cos version2.04 projects could not include multiple devices on the same midi channel etc etc.
