how to import new KEYS file?

Post by Gary_101 »

hi,

I purchased a set of synths & fx from Creamware back in 2004; I got a key-file called "allkeys.skf". I've since used this keyfile on my Scope 4.0 installation with no problem.

However, I recently updated my registration with Sonic Core, and they've sent me 2 keyfiles with "rgy" file extension at end.

Question is, how do I import these 2 new key files into my Scope 4 installation? I've tried all the settings commands, but can't see any place to do this ....

thanks for any help,

Gary

well, you import them when you install the software. the .rgy file can be a .skf file, the only difference is the extension(both are text files). .rgy is what the file is called when it's in the Scope/app/bin folder, after it's imported.

if you have a new device, you can put the device in the routing window and when asked for the key, you can point the software to the new file...
