The relaxed musician's lounge

Post by valis »

Not every forum here is always a buzz of activity but I've got to say it's nice to see PlanetZ in my top level hierarchy of my 'quick links' in FF & Chrome every day. Not bad for a forum that's existed since 31st of Dec, 1969! A round of drinks anyone? If alcohol isn't your thing I'm sure we can abide...

I use Chrome a lot too. I probably should put planetz in there. I've been slowly moving over to it.

Update: Password saved in Chrome. I like that you can actually see what you password is if you forget but that is a security risk. It's nice that Chrome uses sandboxing.

I can view passwords in both Firefox, Chrome & Safari (though on OSX it uses your 'keychain' instead by default.) Each one allows a master password if you're concerned about security (to encrypt & control access to your password list) and/or you can use 3rd party utilities. I find http://www.keepassx.org/ to be great for the price btw (though I use it only for my financial stuff so that it's retrievable in the event of my loss with full documentation on how to do so in my safety deposit box.)

However more important is to relax :P

The Flock Browser is going to be switching from Mozilla to Chrome as the engine.

Have you tried Open ID? It doesn't seem ready to me.
