it's the way of the future and the way of the past. the Encyclopedia Brittanica states that Nimrod instituted "the IDEA of government through random acts of violence", and that's the model ever since. many of the posters in this forum have had government soldiers in their own countries treat protesters and journalists in the same way in thier own countries. it stinks. that's why you CANNOT trust the government with ALL the weapons. guess what? we work for the Europeans, we're just a colony, part of the hive.

for some poor young guys at the war all seems to be like a videogame :(
The military force does a true washing of the brain of that young poor guys that depart for the front. They shoot for fear and because, to their age, they don't knows still the real value of life.

soldiers are meant for killing and are there for killing, that`s their life an their determination. If you don`t want people to be killed or hurt don`t send troops. Just that simple.

Based on the false information the gunner/pilot supply to the officer in charge, the outcome of this was expected, though sad. The saddest part is that noone takes responibility for this, and noone get "punished". I know wikileaks are hard working decrypting more video of the same category, so stay tuned.

Of course youngsters are "brainwashed" in the army. Aggression helps you more out there than than compassion for your enemies ever will.

And for linking this to gun control, dude, a colt 45 wont help you in a standoff against an Apache these days. Times have changed.

Nice of you to link this to Europeans, when in general, we are forced to comply to your rules. Not the other way around. This goes for everything from music industry to weapon industry.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

Sure, the appearance shows the pilot/gunner committing a serious valuation error.
Did you ever seen a terrorist with a rocket launcher under his arm strolling calmly below the rotor of an enemy helicopter?

This is still the extension of agreements that Bush Sr. & Cheney agreed to with the Saudi Royal family 19 years ago.
Testing new strategies, and weapons.
Promises of training and College if you come back alive, no wonder recruitment levels are at record numbers.
We will never see Osama Bin Laden captured either. We would have no reason to occupy foriegn countries then.
It's sad to think we have been in a half dozen undeclared Wars since WWII.
This is the future of global control.

And the Apaches are using new avaionics that have high resolution thermal imaging for shooting through buildings.
Yepp, they just keep practicing their war games with new toys, and that won't stop anytime soon.

My son and his mates had a saying about the Apache...................If you see it coming towards you, don't run. You'll just die tired.

I understand it is difficult to see it all JoPo, but I wish you do, because we need to become conscious of what is going on.

Erminardi, you said: “for some poor young guys at the war all seems to be like a videogame”. I had exactly the same impression. These children are brainwashed somehow, and DO NOT connect with reality at all! They see it as natural behavior, they are in a deep underwater sort of state of mind and don’t realize that life is not a game. The atrocity of their psychology is probably the worst in all this case! I would hold responsible most of all, those that are behind this, those beasts that get them ready for the killing game.

Of course, then we see traumatized people that cannot live in society anymore, because when they get to their 40s, they start to feel the strong pain coming from repentance of what they did, and cannot adapt because they feel guilty, just like it happened with many soldiers from the Vietnam conflict.

The matter here, as I see it, is not political, or military, or racial, despite the fact that these are behind the conflicts. I cannot concentrate in anything else but humankind here… I don’t care which country somebody is from, or where does his religion or atheism comes from, or if he’s young, old, speaks Arabic, English, or whatever… The problem here is a HUMAN PROBLEM!!! It is US! I see that we are losing more and more our own values and righteous feelings as a race.

I deeply believe our human race is degenerating right now; we are getting into an involution of all the basic principles found in nature.

We could explain it in many ways, all of them truthful and totally objective, but they lead us to think about external things like:

*The politicians are wrong, that is the reason for all that is happening
*The problem is capitalism
*The problem is money
*The problem is state terrorism and hidden agendas

Whatever it is… it is true. I think in fact that all these named causes are true, but they don’t explain anything, because they are part of the problem, they tend to blind you about the real reason, which is us, people!

If you want to do some good, please let people know inmediately about these videos, before they take them off the net. This information tends to cuase at least some conscous feelings for this to stop, at least this... Thaink that there are around one hundred family members crying for this stupic and unnecesary act of violence against civilians...

look, it's all wrong, but anyone who thinks that Europeans don't do such things is just folling himself. it's not "people" that is the problem either, except that "people' are so gullible. the USA is run by the same cadre that runs Europe. "we" are doing "your" dirty work as usual. don't believe me? look at the current legislation.

how many thousands of years of "government through random acts of violence" has it been?

There's a room full of puppeteers sitting somewhere using governments, economies, and all the brainwashed bought-n-paid-for politicians as puppets in a very sad global chessgame. The videogame-trained, anti-depressent filled, drugged out soldiers are pawns in this game. Very sad indeed.

It's to the point where we believe that the enemies we are shown are the real enemies. We're left pointing fingers at each other, while never really seeing the real agenda. It's all a ruse. Very sad ruse.

Current scheme is to 'reduce' nukes - while developing newer, deadlier weapons (disarming means getting rid of old technology).

The best we can all do is wake up and take care of each other and our families.

Yup, getting rid of one boogie-man will only promote some other boogie-man.
Getting rid of cancer would destroy a multi-billion dollar industry.

It goes on and on....

I think the problem that your statements appear to absolve the USA of any free will or culpability - it's "you Europeans with your dirty ideas that are corrupting us poor Yanks."

I know that's not what you're saying but that's how it comes across to some of us 'Europeans'.

well, as long as "Europeans"(meaning commoners like ourselves), think that Americans(meaning commoners like ourselves) just like shooting innocent children, there'll be a disagreement, just like if i tried to claim that Germans were heartless people who gas and burn innocent people or if i were to say that Englishmen were brutal, murdering overlords or that people with Viking blood are brutal, bloodthirsty savages at heart. we all know how ridiculous those things are. people can be those things, but special circumstances are usually required for those kinds of madness. the parts of the population that encourage and enjoy those sorts of things have NO loyalties to ANY nation. as much as possible, they do their best to manipulate otherwise "good" people to do horrible things, because for a monster, that's fun. war is the best excuse for those who are so monstrous to have their fun.

people are going to have to think about such things in a different way if they ever want to end such abuse of power and humanity.

it's true that a .45 handgun won't stop a Blackhawk or Apache, but a 50 caliber rifle will.

one other thing you might not know about modern armies, is that soldiers are given drugs called "amnesiacs" to eliminate normal human taboos about violence and to keep the soldiers from going crazy and/or committing suicide over what they have done. many of the participants are truly not in their right minds and don't even remember what they have done(until years later when they really snap). telling about this is not a justification or meant to remove responsibility, only for informational purposes...

I understand you point Gary. When I mean “people”, what I am saying is that it doesn’t matter if they are European or American or whatever people, you should NOT participate in these kind of things, whatever the reason...

Honestly, if you were to force me to do it, you will have to kill me, because I will not kill people just for the sake of it. This is what I mean.

I love your statement siriusbliss: “We humans are in denial about our very base-line ontology”, I couldn’t agree more.

Mr Arkadin, when you say: “I think the problem that your statements appear to absolve the USA of any free will or culpability - it's "you Europeans with your dirty ideas that are corrupting us poor Yanks."

There you are really completely missing the point. Gary is not in favor or against any kind, he’s saying something that is happening that’s all, it’s a description of a situation, there is no will on it. But, again, thinking in that way, leads to this kind of discussions and are not the real bottom line problem.

The bottom line is that something is wrong in general, with the humankind, with all of us beings so cruel and getting involved in such acts.

I was brainwashed at Fort Benning years ago and they are very good and thorough with their methods.
Nowdays there are especially refined.
Music is what saved me.
You guys remember Bingo The Clown right..?
He was such a politically correct humane liberal thinking guy, and then he went to Jump School because he needed to focus on something and this is exactly the kind of person the Armed Forces wants. Semi destitude, and promises of a new life.
Unfortunately Bingo will probably see action, I wish him well and hope he keeps his head down.
I relate to your feelings and share them Nestor.
But sadly our government has become profficient at recruiting techniques and turning young undisciplined folks into soldiers.
The sad part is I know many of these servicemen from my great grandfathers to now, and they are good folks who are re focused onto winning a war, The problem we have had since 1988 is we watched the Soviet Union collapse, and instead of bringing our boys home and concentrating on American issues, the powers that be decided to keep creating wars as it benfits the tech savvy defense corporations and widens our sphere of infuence.
But the evil part of these undeclared wars is the folks who are creating the grounds for invasions, etc.
Putting 2 Pit Bulls in a cage and then calling the one who kills to survive a murderer isn't really fair.
It's the chaps who built the cage and made the wagers who are the culprits.
