Just got my new studio almost finished!!
A local radiostation has hired me for small jobs, and allowed me to take all my stuff and put it in the stations rooms.(for free!)
They had some old studio equipment lying around that i can use for recording live concerts and normal band recording sessions( all to be aired on the radio eventually)
So with a mix of my stuff and their stuff i now have:
-one 60m2 ( thats squaremeters..) tracking room
-one 35m2 control room - 19 connections from controlroom to tracking room (16 mic holes, 3 monitor holes)
-one soundtracs topaz 32 channel inline desk (thats actually 64 channels!)
-a pair of jbl 4412 studio monitors
-one lyrec 8 track one inch tape recorder!!! (not hooked up yet)
-one 16 channel tascam half inch 16 channel tape recorder!!!
-misc. comps/gates/space echoes/ analog delays/old skool digital delay etc etc.
-alot of decent mics.. along with a blue bottle and a tlm 49 neumann!
and everything is powered by 1xluna card 2x 6dsp cards (along with converters) with scope 5.
I LOVE IT!!!! (the only thing i dont love is that i have to spend alot of money on cables/headphones for artist/headphone amps.. but thats ok
