The only error I can see in the system event logs was :
The description for Event ID ( 65535 ) in Source ( STacSV ) cannot be found. The local
computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display
messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve
this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of
the event: Connection to the Storage interface failed.
I haven't changed anything or updated anything on this computer for a while. I restored my computer from a ghost image and it still won't boot. This makes me think there is a hardware problem.

Where would i find these errors? Nothing in the event viewer logs.
Re: Suddenly computer won't boot except in safe mode
i'm not qualified to give a simple answer, idk.
i would try checking all my cables, making sure that they were well seated, swapping out the hd cables if it still didn't work and then i might even try just starting the windows installer on a new drive, just to be sure....you can do a windows repair installation, that wouldn't trash your current config, but might repair crucial corrupted files, if the hardware seems to work.

That was all the problem was! I just tightened all the HD connections, made sure every card was seated properly, and now it boots.
