Just played with this baby quickly.
I didn't touch the compression just Lo and Mid EQ.
Have a listen and see what it did to this bass riff:
1-original untouched
2-with SL9000
3-with SL9000 and PSYQ.
Nice

Re: SL 900 Scope v5
It is a nice channel strip.
If you use strips alot you should also check out Celmo's X-Machine.
It can be used as mono, stereo and stereo w/ a Sub.
I like that one for Grand Pianos because of the Sub.
But my favorite strip is the DAS C350.
It sounds great as usual DAS EQ's, but has various Algo's w/ a really sizzle free Gate.
We can never have enough EQ's, Strips, Comps & Gates.........

You are gonna make me spend more money Jimmy!
Re: SL 900 Scope v5
Hi Jimmy. Just in case, maybe this will help you in your workflow (i am not sure do you know this or not), you are not forced to access STW chorus preset list from Routing window only. You can easily load it in any mixer effect slot then you can right click mouse on effect name in that slot (STW Chorus) and you will see 4 options. Remove, Insert, Surfaces and Hide. You can access preset list from Surfaces tree. That is working for every effect out there.
Have a nice day!

Re: SL 900 Scope v5
i didnt tried it yet, but i think this strip shoul be integrated in every channel of a new generation STM2448 mixer, with a popup window and an option to free the dsp if the modules are not used

Re: SL 900 Scope v5
But you might hit a bug when running the chorus-delay as an insert that manifests itself as noise on the output running with the LFO's.

Re: SL 9000 Scope v5
I am using 6 or 7 ASIO pairs, an external analog SE-1 and the B2003 for my current gig.
So I am using Channel strips right now. SL9000's, C350 & Celmo's X-Machine.
I really like the sound of everything in serial for a low load like this.
STW Chorus/Delay can't be used as an insert in the channel or AUX yet.
A minor inconvenience. It will work but only on the unusable default preset it loads with.
Well it's usuable but it's swirly and has too much delay for what I need.
I haven't worked with a good live drummer for a while, and this band is loud. So the channel strips get the exact levels before the mixer, and then I add FAT-II S, and FAT-II m pre Destination module.
This takes the already right gain structure and makes it louder. Stereo FAT for the Barbetta's and mono FAT for the Rotary cabinet. MIDI CC's on the Gain of each module attached to a knob of the KS88.............sahwheeet.
The gig is perfect while I wait for small fixes and test the unit.
We are on a 2 foot riser which is good because this is a rowdy bar. 2 fights the first night.
My guitarist is a retired cop so he packs an eaualizer.
People get shot all the time in Nevada, but when I have a crack shot w/ a 9 mil as a Guitarist I feel pretty safe.
