Something slightly different - not strictly music but recorded on the SCOPE setup ( + Cubase ) I had in 2003. A review of a YES concert. The music in the background is a MIDI rendition of the YES classic 'Roundabout', using external MIDI modules + STS3000 loaded with Alan White 'Heavy Hitter' samples.
Update 2015 : now all in the box (don't use external gear anymore other than XITE - the proTone PCI on minimoog duties) and on Soundcloud as a tribute:

Nice Indeed.........................
The Bass and drums nailed it really well. The double picking style of Chris Squire on the Rickenbacker near the end was tight.
Yeah not many folks appreciate this stuff.
I was in a 70's Tribute band for a year where we did Dark Side of The Moon, Yes Album, Close To The Edge, ELP, Styx, etc. It is still my favorite type of cover music as it is challenging and very rewarding when it's done right.
Nice synth chops too, you should slap these guys around a little and let 'em hear some more.
Nice Job Dante..........

Thanks - it wasnt my MIDI rendition but downloaded from somewhere. I might re-render it ( Roundabout ) since Ive updated my system since 2003 & post it as a standalone song rather than it just being background....

For the Acoustic Guitar stuff I broke down and bought a rompler called Plectrum.
I like Zithers, Pedal Steel Guitars and Acoustic sounding stuff alot.
The instrument can do much more than that.
But it would give you the And You And I intro, the Mandolin Capo'd 12 String, The Clap, and Roundabout along with those luscious harmonics.
I even have a Ceramic Bell Tone Piano and lots of intreresting hybrids.

I've updated and posted this on Soundcloud as a tribute to Chris Squire.
2 prog nerds go to a Yes concert circa 2003
