JRR Shop Rocks

Post by dawman »

Although I won't buy my Scope cards or DSP stuff there, I have to admit Uncle Eric always pulls through.
I did buy my first Scope card there, a meger 6 Pack, and then decided the girl answering the phone didn't know as much GaryB or ProMusic staffers.
But an Alesis Ion and other goodies are always low balled down.
Recently decided to buy more KS88's but couldn't get the M Audio wholesale price of six anymore, but Uncle Eric came to the rescue with the low ball price of 323 USD and overnight delivery for free.....
These guys run a good shop..

I cannot see punishing my Solaris with the name of M Audio in the same keyboard rack so I decided since most these people I run across only know Receptors and VST synths ( aarrgghh), I would place on old outdated Oberheim decal on it and some yellow trim to cover the generic M Audio logo....

Maybe I'll get a Fairlight III decal or N.E.D. Synclavier and cover up Solaris..........
Boy that'll sure chap JBowen's ass.... :D
No Way Jose, Solaris........." The End Of All Synthesis Synthesizer " .....SJones, March 2nd, 2009.

The KS88's are my favorite throw away controllers though, and you can see the mighty synths and mixers I will be using live. Since I only need a few presets for each synth, the 17 buttons each have a preset for the various synths in the Project window and for the External Analog SE-1X.
