I had cubase 4 update less than a month ago, and discovered the C5 grace period by chance.... with bank fees etc, the upgrade from C4 to C5 was less than 25€....
(I thought it would be 199€, which is the official price in shops, out of the grace period)... Just in case some of you are interested and want to take advantage of the offer...
It takes some time, so i don't have C5 yet....

Re: Cubase 5 grace period
probably
C4 doesn't bring a lot over SX 2 (in fact, i don't like the bus in/outs management since sx3, but well the rest is cool, bigger eqs and ability to move inserts from a slot to another... nice interface etc).
The C5 "melodyne ertzatz" is more interesting and might deserve upgrading (i will try to test for you if i receive it in time).
