The DSP usage box indicates board order according to cset.ini.

Both, but the samplerate panel can be more useful. For example I have now two Pro and a Home in a system. I had to change some cset.ini entries after I replaced a Pulsar 1 with the Home board. The Pulsar 1 board was leaving the first place to a second gen. board, one of the pros, but when I swapped it with a Home it suddenly became the first one (even if being at the farthest position fom the graphics in my Abit board). Making the changes I watched the Samplerate panel because it was telling me what was the position of the 2 scope pro boards with different I/O plates and different digital connections, that the simple dsp panel couldn't say.

The hardware I/O in the routing window is also listed after board order.
