Please choose one of the options if applicable.
2 answers are possible.
"None" is not an option, if you are in this case, either don't answer or choose the answer closest to your own choice/wish you had etc...
Comments etc, in your replies.
Thanks !

Cubase 4 for MIDI.
Reaper for audio.
However for live playback of WAV. files VDAT.
Could be a useful thread for those who might be watching....

Using Cubase VST 3 currently, but will probably upgrade to 5 sometime this year, if only to be able to stay on the upgrade path for future releases (seems as if upgrades are only available to the last 2 releases).
Using Logic on the Mac, and very much looking forward to using this with an XITE-1, if the Pound/Euro exchange doesn't push the price completely out of my reach.

Im running on sx3. It does all I need it to.
I cant see me upgrading, and with the Xite when it comes, I'll have more tools than I'll probly ever need.

Thanks guys,
keep them coming
ALL APOLOGIES TO PROTOOLS / DIGITAL PERFORMER users, i did the question quickly this morning and forgot those.
I cannot edit the poll without loosing all answers.
PLEASE CHOOSE "Logic on mac" if you run PT or DP so you stay in the mac world (eventhough I would go Logic myself if i had a mac).
Cheers

Spacef,
I have been a longtime Cubase user, but got fed up when they failed to fix SX3, so that is where I'm stuck. I've used Reaper some as well.
I am following the development of Temper (www.angryredplanet.com/temper) very closely, and have used it quite a bit recently. I have requested that the developer add in APP sync, which would be perfect, as it could be my midi sequencer, and I prefer to record into VDAT. He wasn't familiar with APP, but was interested in including it at some point if possible. It does have MTC, but I haven't experimented with that in Temper.

I wouldnt mind using ableton if it was at all capable of outputting a steady MIDI clock :p
so i mostly use cubase. at least it stays in sync

Re: What is your favorite sequencer to use with Scope
Cubase in my studio and Nuendo for Mastering in an external studio. They have Scope system too

4PC + Scope 5.0 + no more Xite + 2xScope Pro + 6xPulsarII + 2xLunaII + SDK + a lot of devices (Flexor III & Solaris 4.1 etc.) + Plugiator.
Re: What is your favorite sequencer to use with Scope
Scope 10 Pro + scope was great. As I sold all my pci boards for Xite, Samplitude is now on my macbook pro (bootcamp) and is ready ... The only problem with sam is the mono-stereo buses which makes things more complicated (compared to Nuendo for example). I will use the Xite in XTC for that reason ...

I have a hunch they're working on this for V11 - especially for the enhanced external hardware functionality.bill3107 wrote:Scope 10 Pro + scope was great. Which, by the way, is not a big issue when using Scope.

I use an mpc to sequence my hardware, and ableton to sequence scope. I usually mix through scope with Reaper or Wavelab.

Re: What is your favorite sequencer to use with Scope
I use an akai asq10 for midi or an atari st (yes really!) with cubase 3 for midi depending on the track. Audio in cubase vst on the pc but only audio never midi.
I use scope for mixing only.

Re: What is your favorite sequencer to use with Scope
i thought logic 5 on windows was vintage but this akai sequencer on atari is the winner
ableton looks cool with the akai controller, and it is on special price now... but i've never really been able to get how it can adapt my ways. The ways you edit recordings seems really powerful too.
I should upgrade my old SX to C4 at last for the pattern view and the panel thing, and midi.... and keep Reaper for some audio recordings on a weak laptop, as reaper is really the lightest and fastest to use, but still is not convenient to use for midi works.

Yes, I should upgrade!
But until the day it breaks, I'll keep using my 'vintage' setup.
