Hello all,
Bit of numptitude on my part really - I had Sonar 8 and XTC mode working perfectly, but due to laziness I didn't bother to register Sonar until after the 30-day limit... whereafter it spazzed out and demanded I reinstall it. I reinstalled just fine (and registered before the same thing could happen again!), and luckily the VSTplugins folder was left unharmed, keeping all my XTC plug-ins. Great. Except...
Now Sonar can't see my ASIO drivers when I try and launch it in XTC mode! It works in SFP mode just fine, and my XTC Project file hasn't changed at all (in fact, nothing Scope-wise has changed at all). The 'enable XTC mode' box is ticked, but I can't select ASIO (or, indeed, any driver model) in Sonar at all. Normally I'd just reinstall some stuff (probably starting with Scope), but since it took so much fannying around to get XTC mode to work, and since I'm pretty sure I fluked the cset.ini file so that my cards were recognised in the right order (I can't remember what I did, and can't be sure I could do it again!) I would ideally like to keep Scope intact.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what I can try?
Cheers!
***EDIT***
Apologies - in my confuzzlement, I forgot about the XTC forum. D'oh! That said, I've got a feeling that this is Sonar-related, so if anyone can help me out from that angle, it would be much appreciated.
Chris
***ANOTHER EDIT***
In the interest of correctitude, please reply to the thread I started in the XTC discussion, here: http://forums.planetz.com/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=26752
