Re: you have news?????
Man, I am seriously bummed... I bought the creamware/Sonic Core scope card last spring, anticipating the Vista patch. Here it is almost a year later, and still no patch.... I am beginning to lose faith that this will ever come out. Am I wrong here? Am I alone in the frustration? At this point, I may just look at selling the card, as I don't want to keep trying to work off 2 different PC's wile trying to make music...
Re: you have news?????
M-audio/digidesign have been promising 64bit drivers for many of their products for about 3 years now, and they've still only got their newer products covered in that promise. I can think of other companies that will never release 64bit drivers for existing audio products, even if they're still for sale in the marketplace. "Buy our new crap, it's better and magiciliciously 64bit!" they'll say...
One thing I'll say for SonicCore, they don't push releases out the door full of bugs and then release a ton of 'updates' to patch the bugs they left unfixed. There are a few exceptions to this (like the Minimax update and one other synth I can think of but won't name), but most of the bugs that exist with the releases we've had seem to be related to architectural decisions rather than buggy coding.
So one would hope that the extended delay in release is for good reason, and will result in stable & usable 64bit drivers.
