ASIO Src & Dest in project, but no Scope ASIO in Cubase? :-[

Post by mantrix »

Fellow old pulsarians and people of the scope, i have almost finished the completion of rebuilding my homestudio around my !SUPERGLUED! Scope Project as a asio & hardware mixer and effect unit.

The latest obstacle in my way is that even though i drag ASIO source & dest modules into my project, no Scope ASIO driver can be seen in Cubase. Only my Emu 1820 ASIO driver shows up, as well as some multimedia ASIO / Full duplex driver - but no Scope. What can be the problem? I make sure to load the ASIO modules before starting Cubase, is there some extra step i have forgot? Is it something you can choose or deactivate during installation of the Scope software?

in cubase/nuendo's device setup the ASIOScope driver MUST be available...

congrats. The question of what to install first scope or cubase was said to be cubase first and then scope. For me it worked scope first and then cubase.
Scope drivers first, then Cubase, then Scope.
I think this was most because the XTC *.dll files "needed" to be in the Cubase VST area.
If you dont need XTC, then its ok to install Scope first.
You can add folders for XTC before (or during) the install too.
