Hi all!
I tried to record a gigastudio performance driven by an external GM Keyboard running a drum&bass&piano track, just to try in the idea of driving Gigastudio by an external sequencer.

The "experiment" is intented to run GIGASTUDIO alone without Cubase at his flank: this should give a higher number of track available with Gigastudio on my "poor" system ( as any of you know is a PII-350@465 ).

The module used to record is "Wave Dest" were I connected the GSIF output because I can't use ( just for this test ) the CUBASE "ASIO Dest" module.

The sounds recorded is distorted while the GIGASTUDIO output ( e.g. connected to the mixer ) is perfectly clear.

Why this? The output setting of my GIGASTUDIO is set to 44.1Khz.

Thks for the patience for this almost neophite poster!

I wonder that Gigastudio is running on your system. The manual points out that you need at least a P2 466 and recommended is a p3 600. I guess it´d be better to downgrade to Gigasampler and do all the mixing-jobs in your pulsar.
