That's right. None of my mates are about, or I'd be down the pub. I've been working on the same tune every evening after work since Monday, so I'm gonna give it a break tonight. Which leaves me with very few options. If I was smoking pot at the moment, I'd probably watch an old Jackie Chan movie I got the other day (Snake In Eagle's Shadow, if anyone's interested).
As it stands, I'm not, so I'll be doing something just a little bit more involving. And that, unfortunately, is playing Civilization IV on a Friday night.
Unless anyone has any better ideas? Or is in Cambridge, UK, and fancies a pint? I just don't want to resign myself to being a slave to Sid Fucking Meier just yet (though I have a feeling it's pretty inevitable).
Come to think of it, if anyone from the UK replies to this topic, then they'll be spending their Friday night on Planet Z (which, though not as bad as playing Civ, is pretty sad).
Any ideas?
Playing Civilization IV online, on a Friday night.

Played Civ 4 for a few hours.
Lost terribly (first civilization to go, in a 7-player game. D'oh!)
