External İnstruments latency problem in XTC

dear Friends

When working in XTC mode on Nuendo İ want to use my outboard gear (like Synths and FX) so İ create an external instrument and select the inputs on wich,for example,my synth is connected at. Working with 24ms latency and playing in realtime İ sure feel the latency of ASİO ...BUT....after recording a MİDİ part and then playing it back only as a sequencer Cubase should compensate the latency...BUT İT DOESNT... . And here is something else...there was a time when it did work but now it doesnt...is there anyone haveing the same problem or anybody who knows how to solve this problem....???
