look how slow that responded to blinks. i dont think you will be playing any fast passages with that for a while. maybe a bit of brain theramin. or CC changes.
funny how scientists still try to relate music to notes. I would be happy if they can pull out a chunk of audio from my head. In a sense, it should be simpler since it doesn't involve a bunch of notes, but just 1 stream.

Yeah, this thing will be useless for any serious shredding. Plug it in to a Marshall, danger of short circuits and severe head burns. Might be fatal and could cause problems with any warranty claims.
On the topic of alternative controllers, Windows 7 due out in 2010 is going to have multiple touch screen technology built into the OS. I can imagine this will make for some killer synthesizer apps. I think there is something like that now but this will make it affordable and open it up to developers. A lot of people who are not involved in art and music don't understand the coolness of it. They lack imagination.
For the office, no it's not great but for the studio, oh yes!
