Hi,

I keep reading about the Asus CUSL2 motherboard as a very good one. BUT I was wondering is there any board with the same sort of specs but which allows for 4 single-sided dimm modules. (The CUSL2 only has 3 slots).

Anyone?

Nope; The ASUS CUSL2 actually gets around a RAM limitation inherent in the Intel i815E/P chipsets, by giving you three RAM slots! In this respect, it's the best 815 board out.

If you need more than 512megs of ram, then the most solid proven choice is a BX board like the ASUS CUBX.

that´s true for an fsb of 133mhz.

but...

you can indeed run a solano-board with 768mb ram, but then you have to run the fsb @ 100mhz, which also means you need a cpu with that fsb (or you run your fsb133-pentium at about 1/4 less performance).

Hi,

For the record. My pc is now equipped with an MSI 815EP Pro motherboard which has room for 4 single sided sdram modules up to 512MB total as a max.
