SCOPE 5.0 IS FINALLY OUT!!!!!!

Post by bosone »

the 1st of april 2008 will be remembered in the history of scope cards:
SONIC CORE 5.0 IS FINALLY OUT!!!!!
i have just finished the download, the installation and a quick test... it is beyond any imagination...

the whole look is changed and i like it... there are new plugins (terrific eq, reverb and the new functions of the mixer...now you can dynamically add all the channels and bus you need) but even more important is the code optimization!

they must have found some DSP genius.... i have 22 sharc and a project that in the past would need almost all my power, now it leaves more than one half free-dsps!!!!!!! i can load twice poliphony in minimax and i can double the number of dyunatube i can use!!!!!!

and what to say about the new gizzmo synth?!?! it has a sound that i never heard in any other synth... just listen to the demo online to get an idea of the possibility of this new beast...
now i have written too much... i have to go deeper into the new functions of out beloved new platform!!!!!!!!!!!

SONIC CORE PLATFORM 5
Windows Vista compatible

Intended to be available in May 2008: Version 5 of the SCOPE software will be released at the same time we release the new hardware SCOPE XITE-1.
I'm only worried by the meaning of "intended"... ;-)

SC could have put a similar announcement on their website... :)
(with a comment that they have a first release on floppy disks only, and a link to the ftp server with 400 fdd images ready for download :D)

-greetings, markus-

I was prepared this time -- I remember a couple of years ago someone "announced" that CreamWare would release new cards and software. I'm just glad the official Scope Xite announcement from SC wasn't on April 1st. :P

By the way, I've decided to sell all my CreamWare cards and get Pro Tools instead. After all, it's the Industry Standard.
