Reaper - MIDI inputs could not be opened

I'm trying to run Reaper in XTC-mode.

Am I doing something wrong or is it not possible to run Reaper in xtc - mode?

Reaper says that the MIDI inputs could not be opened.

I know nothing of XTC mode.

The "MIDI inputs could not be opened" message comes up in Reaper usually when the Scope MIDI sequencer modules that relate to the unopenable MIDI ins/outs in Reaper are not included in the Scope project running.

Your problem may well be to do with the Scope seq MIDI ports not being open.
