impossible to make new connections

Post by the19thbear »

hi.
did you ever experience this?:
Use the routing window and connect various gizmos, you click the out of some device and click the input of a mixer (just an example), but you accidentaly click right next to the connection pad, and then you cant make any new connections at all! you ahve to restart scope.

that has happened to me many times and its driving me nuts!
im using 4.0 /4.5
thanks!

Whenever that happens to me i just click in free space a couple of times and then try again. Certainly do not have to restart.

I often use the label of the pad as a target, works much better than hitting the tiny spot... :D
never had it hang due to clicks, tho.
But it's funny (on some graphcards) to switch color deepth on the fly - all the 'hot spots' are displaced :P
if the pad becomes crowded it's indeed annoying...

cheers, Tom
