How can I run my pulsar I with Cubase if i've got an XTC?

I can run Cubase and the XTC software loads and i can play with the vectron cool!
But when I run the pulsar I software and I start Cubase it says: Software already running!!(?)
I know, I know, Pulsar I and XTC can't be run simultaneously...but how do I 'turn off' the XTC?

I'm thinking of buying a XTC card and wonder how you manage to work in a project and just being able to run the Pulsar OR the XTC software? I mean, you must be able to connect everything in some way right?

You can't run XCT (sw version 3.01) and Pulsar I (sw version 2.04a) simultaniously until Pulsar (sw version) III (anyone?).
So I want to disable the XTC software... if I can.

Well there is a slight chance it would work if you didn't have an STDM cable, but I have doubts about that working...

To remove XTC, uninstall it, reinstall 2.04 FULL (or 2.01 FULL followed by 2.04 UPDATE), you might have to also change the drivers for both cards to the 2.04 driver manually in the Control Panel, connect the cards via STDM and use Pulsar as usual. The XTC will act as an SRB until Pulsar 3.0 then you will be able to easily switch modes (or so I hear).

Hi,
With XTC 3.01 , you should be able to run either XTC or Pulsar software...
For that, you should have install Pulsar2.04a first then XTC...
The XTC installation change some files into Pulsar folder.
After disabling 'pulsar in background' you could choose to lauch XTC (just lauch VST...) or Pulsar + VST (just ignore the error message at the start of VST)
