I'll take it.

How's a nice round figure of 250 USD + shipping sound?

I will use it live w/ XITE-1.

The Filters work in a side chain mode correct?

PM me if you're serious Scope4live.

The filters - can be used to modify the sound of the signal coming through the unit, or to modify how the gate works. When used on the sound, the filters remove unwanted bass or treble. When used on the gate, the filters remove bass or treble from the signal that is fed to the gate, so giving frequency-selective gating (for example, to get rid of bleed from a bass drum).

More details of the filters:-

To Audio - when lit, switches the filters into the audio path.

To Gate - when in, switches the filters to the gate. When using the filters with the gate, you can use the To Audio button to temporarily switch the filters into the audio path; this lets you monitor the signal that is being sent to the gate, so you can adjust the filters to remove unwanted parts of the signal and just leave the instrument you wish to gate.

Low - removes unwanted bass from the sound. The low filter has a gentle effect, so you can use it to tailor the bass without cutting it completely.

High - removes unwanted treble from the sound. The high filter is more aggressive than the low filter, to cut noise and harshness, though it's design lets you cut high frequencies without making the resulting signal sound dull (this is particularly good for acoustic guitars).

Corrective - when in, the low filter removes all frequencies below the selected frequency, and the high filter removes all frequencies above the selected frequency.

Sorry, no Paypal. They are daylight robbers. Even their exchange rates are rubbish.

I'm sure you'll find a way to get the money to a Scottish bank securely.

I'll be in touch via PM tomorrow with a shipping quote.

BTW, thanks for not trying to use that generic slogan that so many on ebay say.......................Mint condition and used in a smoke free studio.

Any real studio is full of smoke and booze and broads, and the surfaces are full of cocaine residue.

Actually I need the item, and after all of the great freebies you have made for all of us, I wouldn't dream of insulting you by asking for a cheaper price.

Hello musurgio, of course you're welcome to buy the unit if Scope4live decides not to take it or if he can't make a direct bank (wire) transfer. Scope4live was first to say he'd take it, so it's his call. :)

Scope4live, I've just had the unit weighed & it's just under 4 kilos. Once packed it'll be just under 5 kilos. If you want it you will need to make a wire transfer direct from your bank (not from paypal) to sharc's account here in Scotland. The unit would be posted asap after the wire transfer clears. Postal prices to you in the USA are as follows (in pounds sterling):-

Global Priority (from 3 days) tracked & insured @ £150, is £66.30.
International Standard (from 5 days) not tracked, but still insured @ £150 is £60.30.
International Economy (from 28 days) not tracked & not insured at all is £46.65.

-------

Musurgio, if Scope4live opts out of the deal, the postal prices within Europe would be as follows:-

Global Priority (from 3 days) tracked & insured @ £150, is £40 - £45 depending on location.
International Standard (from 4 days) not tracked, but still insured @ £150 is £30 - £35 depending on location.

Within mainland UK postal prices would be as follows:-

Special Delivery (insured & guaranteed next day before 1pm) is £20.
Standard Parcels ( uninsured & normally 3-5 working days) is about £10.

The same payment options apply if you're in Europe (bank/wire transfer). If you're in the UK there are easier payment options available to you.

Thanks,

I will find out the bank/wire procedure tomorrow morning and proceed.

I like round figures so 375 USD should cover everything.

PM You in the morning.

Bump...

sod it, I'll let this go rediculously cheap now because I need the cash.

£90 via bank wire transfer & the unit is yours.
So that's £90 including postage if you're in the UK - a sore dick deal as JV would put it.

PM me if you're interested. - postal prices for Europe are listed a few posts above.

Thanks

Hi Mark

Just fyi. The Tone Factory still works like a charm, it's my killer bass preamp, connected directly to the PA for rehearsing or live, just great :-)

Cheers

Hi Roman,

thanks for the feedback & I'm glad you're enjoying it. :)

It's good that it went to a good home & nice to know that someone is putting it to better use than I did. I bought it at a time when I planned to learn to play bass, but that just didn't happen for several reasons.

I really liked the tonefactory though & I'd definitely get another one at some point.
