Request for Info on current driverz situation for Pulsar.

helo there creamware ppl, i am just posting 2 see if there are ne win2k or Xp drivers for creamware pulsar (4 free!) quick de-brief.. ! a friend has tha card and we're having problemz getting tha asio latency down less that 24ms.. not sure if we're missing something maybe some1 can tell us! we are running 98 at tha mo and wanna switch over 2 win2k or XP.. are there any free driverz? is there a place we have missed 2 change the asio buffer size? wen we go 2 change from cubase or logic control panel we only see bitrate controlz! (44/48 etc)

hopefully this makez sense! i have tried emailing creamware twice and have had no reply. ! in essence we would like 2 get on win2k platform with decent midi asio latency for making muzik! are we being stupid? is there something we're missing i think tha driver version is 3.xx .. tha card is @ my friendz internetless house in devon, uk. i would like 2 have a solution next time i go 2 make muzik in tha westcountry with him! lol, tx 4 scoping this, Peace, JOykrash.. : )

sure v3, 4 and 4.5 all work with xp and quite well. all can be used for free, but you'll need to register with soniccore if you want to use v4 and you don't have keys yet.

hey tx 4 ur quick responsez creamware ppl! i think it iz a pulsar 1.. i have serial and code etc.. and my m8 has given me a reg name that he'z registered with on creamware site tho this may be sometime ago.. so i presume i download 4x or 4.5x from tha creamware dload section then request a key and we're good 2 go..? also i am assuming that tha l8a driverz have sumwer within tha gui 2 change buffer sizez. etc! we couldnt find this in tha version we had. and we were a bit stumped! lol, tx for ur extremely fast repsonsez! muchos appreciated hombrez!

13ms is plenty good enuff 2 work with so we'll be fine with that.. . 24 isnt! lol!

hey tx 4 tha tip... very fast response here and i am impressed! i dont think we'll be doing anything that involvez kash-money for a lil bit.. we're both dead broke! but we will see how we get on with tha card and maybe purchase another if we can get something unique from it! i havent really listened super closely 2 tha soundquality on tha creamwareas yet.. .. i know they've got a good rap.. i have RME mulitface and a Lynx 1 myself and tha lynx kikz tha RME for sound quality.. so it'll be interesting 2 see how tha Pulsar soundz! i'm just glad we have what lookz like a sonic solution for tha creamware and we dont have 2 go on ebay 2 get a 2nd hand m-audio 24/96 = blanket over tha speakerz! thanks again for all ur help, i've never known such speedy repliez! propz 2 u pulsar headz! xcellent that'z good 2 know.. i'm lookin 4wd 2 gettin down with it now and seeing what it can do! we got lotz of party-tek-minimal to make! lol, and looks like there'z lot'z of good plugz and bit'z and piecez around 4 it.. it'z kinda like a uad card i guess but different!! i'll have a go with it get it rocking properly and perhapz we can expand it once we've gotten into it a bit.. thanx 4 effortz again, pz 2 that citizenz of creamware city...... a nice place 2 live! You could say that. Like a UAD card only with fantastic synths, amazing third party devices (some free), infinite routing possibilites, modular synth, samplers etc.
