So I've been doing some spring cleaning of my studio to start the new year and discovered my original Pulsar card (now called a Pulsar Classic I think). 4 DSP. One of the first ones in the USA from way back in the day.
I'm wondering what the latest software package is that I can download for it is (free). I *think* I was using 4.0 or the version just before that, but I can' t seem to find any backup CDs from that era with my "Pulsar Downloads" folder on it. I also have keys for several add-ons and have no idea if they're any good anymore.
Can someone please tell me what my options are for bringing this card back to life on a Windows XP system?
Thanks!
Pulsar Classic Questions
Could you elaborate a little please
I've been out of the loop since Creamware became (?) Sonic Core. Do I need to re-register the card and get a key to run the 4.0? 4.5? basic software package. Is there no hope of getting current software for it and I should just sell the card to someone here that needs a few more DSPs?

Hey Garry, welcome back.
You can re-download 4.0 software here. Should be fine.
SCOPE v4.5 Upgrade is currently 166,39 EUR.
Keep us posted - your P1 is still a great piece of studio hardware - a lot has happened over the years, but one thing's for sure - the quality of plugs has gone up.

Thanks for reply Wayne. My download of Scope 4.0 from Sonic Core is almost complete. How do keys work for that old stuff? I know I had a text file with my keys in it or a reg file of some sort. All missing in action after several computer upgrades and a couple hard drive crashes. Should Sonic Core have all my old keys available if needed? I sent them an email with my KEY42 and S/N...wayne wrote:Hey Garry, welcome back.

I also see a bunch of "nokey" plug-ins in another folder. Are all those available for free? Just trying to get up to speed on what the old girl can still do/run...
Thanks. Hopefully I get a reply from Sonic Core support today with a 4.0 key for my Pulsar.garyb wrote:you'll need to write to support and request 4.0 keys for your card's serial number.
The Creamware web site let you log in, view all your keys and download file with all the keys in it. Is that still available somewhere on the Sonic Core site? I looked around and couldn't find it.
the "MyPage" area was abandoned long ago (already when the was CW around) due to frequent and increasing misuse of it.Garry wrote:Thanks. it has neither been reestablished nor announced to be in the works, so contacting ralf is the way to go (although I liked MyPage as well
