Kontakt 2 and Scope

Post by cream »

In the kontakt 2 manual I saw a picture about the kontakt outputs.
I saw they were using a scope soundcard. I always used kontakt in a cubase environment without sfp. But on this picture they seem to route the outputs to the asio scope channels.
I want that too!
I don't know if this was accomplished in standalone mode or vst mode.
I made 10 asio channels in sfp and added them in cubase but I cannot choose from the scope asio outputs in the Kontakt output-window. Am I doing something wrong?

No Basically, because kontakt is a vst plugin, you can only choose from vst connection outputs,so you have to add asio connections in cubase which will be your output Busses and route kontakt through cubase, so obviously you'll have to setup kontakt as well.(I stand corrected).

I tried Kontakt as a vst and connected asio to sfp. Works great...mixing in scope and you still can use the vst effects on your samples.
Why didn't I think of that before...
