Jimmy, as far as I know the developers who post on NS pay a fee to have a presence there, and they tend to quickly ban people who say bad things about their stuff. You might want to be careful, because if I remember correctly the Chickensys guy is quite active there.

Good, let him respond to the post then.

I bought his product online, and when sought a fix he was rude.

He can kiss my dorrieire.

I left that forum over a year ago, and then recieved emails asking me to post again from the moderator.

Seldom does anyone have a tip, or help each other. Everyone wants to sell you something, or lie about it's usefullness.

I just post in the Gigastudio, and Piano forum. I am an umpire of sorts, I call them like I see 'em. If I am censored for the truth, then that place is a lie.

There are occasional good tips though from a new member who frequents our forum here under a guise, ( sneaky bastard ). He is a Gigastudio tweakehead., who has discovered some really neat fixes for annoyances, but as you noticed, only I thanked him for his work.

A Forum full of lurkers, gravelling for cheap and free developements. Such a pity.

Thanks for the advice Brotha' Man Darkrezin.

Yup, I predict you'll be banned in a week. NS is a place to talk nice about the sponsors. Nothing else is tolerated.

that kind of things is what I was fighting against lately, to keep planetz independent from any commercial party - freedom of speech (within rational bounderies) :-)

I am so spoiled from Scope and the Z, I tend to rub it in too much over there, and offend many who bought crappy libraries thinking they are great.

I shall try to be more sensative, but that is a trait I have never rerally acquired.

Anybody Ever heard Dennis Leary sing that song in a show of his where He sings I'm an Asshole, and the background vocalists chime in and sing he's an asshole.

no, you shouldn't :-)
to my taste you didn't say anything wrong.
Not regarding content (freedom of speech) but also not regarding language.
Unless someone doesn't recognize your style :-D

Stardust,
I really want that bye-bye avatar you have. It is quite appropriate sometimes.

This forum has tips, developers, sales, information, and all links allowed. That's what makes us a great community. If I can't speak my mind freely, I'd rather not speak at all. NS is reminiscient of what I would have expected in China during the Yahoo, Google government debate on search topics.
