I wrote this tune whilst taking copious amounts of cocodamol and ibuprofen for some quite bad sciatica. This is version 1 of the tune. I need to make some changes and introduce a second melody. I thought I would share it with you people.
Any comments would be useful.

This track used Hummel's Plastic synth, STS 3000, EZ synth and a touch of the good old Amen breakbeat, sliced and diced in an Ensoniq sampler.

The echoey heartbeat-type sound is Hummel's Plastic synth, and the filtererd lead is the EZ synth. The bass is an Xtreme Lead preset, and when I do a new version, I'll change it to a Minimax or something becasue the Xtreme Lead sounds a bit too digital and clean to me. This toon, believe it ot not, used about 95% of DSP of my lowly Pulsar 1 card. When I write a tune, I like to write it "live" rather than bounce tracks endlessly.

I'm glad you liked the track. The next version will have more variation. I have an old Modular 1 patch called Titanic that uses synced ocsillators(terrible pun!) and one of the presets sounds sort of discordant, thought it isn't. I I've used that sound for a closing/alternative melody line. Watch this space...

Loved the track and it shows the new users/members just what quality can come out of a "lowly Pulsar 1" card on the fly.
Comments for what they're worth:
I thought the 2 note EZ synth riff needed a bit more variety in places - it felt as if it had got stuck at the top end around the 3:30 mark.
The organ like pad sound adds a nice warm feel to the track, but try varying the chord inversions a bit during the track.

I wish I could do as much with as little
