My problems with my new configuration go on.
Now that Scope 4.5 seems to be working, I installe Cubase sx 3.1.
Very bad surprise : with my old Ahtlon 64 X2 4200 + I used to have a buffer size of 5512 samples. since I use real time processing of audio monitored in Cubase, this is a major problem for me (I used plugs ins on external sources monitored in Cubase live and I have concerts at the end of theweek).
With my new configuration (reminder : E6600 quad core, Intel DG965WH moterboard (very close to the DP965LT with a graphic proc that I disabled in the BIOS), Asus 7100 PCI-X graph card, 2 GO DDR2 ram), 5512 samples does not work and I have to work with a buffer size of... 7408 samples !!!!
Do those of you who have an Intel motherboard with a dual or quad core Intel have to deal with such buffer sizes ??? If not, how can I fix this problem ?
