VDAT Rewind

Post by pkole »

Well i 'm learning how to record with VDAT and it seems to be really good.
However, i have a question.
When i rewind and i want to go to zero it stops responding and the screen of the VDAT says Data.
That's it i have to fast forward or push a locator to play again.

Am i doing something wrong?

Thanks in advance.
Panagiotis.

vdat formats hdd space to be like an adat tape, and it even syncs with a real adat. the first part is a header. the recording starts at zero, as per the last post.

Thanks but i already do that.
Anyway, is there a way to make it rewind or fast forward slower?
e.g. what if i want to turn the tape 3 seconds?

i haven't used vdat for a little bit, but i believe it will scrub if you leave it in play. i think you can also enter a particular spot on the tape manually. you can also put a locater point in the spot where you want to return to....this is one for the manual. :D
