Post by Ludwig »

Does anyone know the pin assignment of the Pulsar 1 breakout cable (unbalanced/SPDIF)???? Can´t find out by measurement, because I lost the cable....

if you look from the soldering side of the connector (from behind), then
the bottom row is not connected
top row from left to right (9 to 1)
analog in L, in R, out L, out R, dig in, dig out, midi through R, out R, in R
middle row 3 rightmost (12 to 10)
midi through L, out L, in L
all ground lines to the shield of the connector

the L and R in midi mean the left and right pin beneath the middle one, if seen from behind

happy soldering, Tom
...you'll know why that thing costs 50 Euro afterwards
