Hi all,
I am getting frequent "pci master overflow" warnings. This stops all work of course and most times I have to reboot to get things working again, then it may only last 1/2 hour or so and back again. Any suggestions on what to try.
I have no other pci cards installed, just an nvidea AGP card.
thanks

List your chipset and all other relevant info (motherboard, ram etc).
Right click on My Computer, choose 'manage' go into 'device manager' then in the top menu (once in device manager) choose 'view resources by type'. Expand the IRQ section and list what you see there.
Then identify what items are ONBOARD (built into the motherboard) and NOT NEEDED. Reboot and use your bios/setup hotkey to enter the bios setup screens and disable anything you're not needing or using. Parallel, serial and other unnecessary ports and so on.
Also tell us if you're using onboard RAID or anything of that nature.

I changed my video card driver and things seem to be much smoother. I used to have problems opening some synths (B2003, Minimax and Pro-12) without getting a communication error with board 0 message as well. Now I can load these. I will definately get back with that info if I continue having this problem, hopefully it's fixed though.
Thanks
