Install Problem

Post by das97 »

Hi, I'm just trying to setup my system with old Pulsar and SRB (Gen1).
Drivers seem to have installed ok (Pulsar on PCI slot4 - IRQ16, SRB on PCI slot5 - IRQ18). There appear to be no conflicts.

Now I'm trying to install Scope4 (PC). I have come to the activation page and I've imported the allkeys.sfk file that Ralf sent me a couple of days ago. However, the "next" button is not activating so I'm assuming something is not registered.
I'm very tired so I might have missed something (Installed ASPI drivers, firewall off etc.)

If anybody has got any ideas , I'd be most grateful...

PS: I forgot to mention that my system drive is F:\ (not C:\). Will this cause a problem?

I don't think I did that. I may have the first time, but I deleted the newly created F:\Scope directory and started again. There appears to be no key for the actual "Scope 4 Platform" in the "Activation Keys" dialog box, but I'm really not sure what needs to be there to be honest. I have mailed Ralf about it, maybe I need that key.

Good news Stardust! Now have correct key from Ralf and cards are operating. It seems to have taken to F:\ as system drive ok. Only in the most basic testing at the moment but most apps seem to work ok.

I haven't got around to checking out Cubase yet as I have SX 3 and I've not used it before. Gotta a learning curve now with new Scope and Cubase.

I hope to reconfigure the whole system in a couple of weeks when I get a couple of new drives and so I will actually make Scope go to C:\ just in case of other problems.

Thanks for all your help...
