I all ,

i have used a luna + adat expansion together with a pulsar 1 with 4dsp.

i also have a sync plate ; the cards are slaved via bnc to my converters .

recently i had a problem with the pulsar getting wierd sonics on the adat inputs . i double checked everything and finally tried a friends
scope card in place of it with success. strange .

i have another luna in spare .

My question is : do i need one syncplate per card or can i run ok

with 2 luna's each with an adat expansion and one syncplate for the 2 cards ???

one syncplate per system - otherwise BNC sync wouldn't make much sense, wouldn't it ?

is it possible i have to send back the card to creamware to buy an adat extension or can i buy it online ?

I bought my ADAT extension online. You'll be able to add it to your Luna card, it is really very easy..

when did you buy it? if recently, would you be so kind to tell me the hardware revision that is printed on the board? I'm still looking for someone to have an adat expansion running with a scope home board (hw rev 1.4) and a working expansion connected to it...

I bought the extension for my Luna 2 at Thomann in August 2006. 189 EUR.
Plz tell me where the HW revision number is. I bought my Luna 2 already in 2002, perhaps this is useful for you.

hi thomas,

the hw revision is printed onto the circuit board. if you hold it with the populated side looking at you, and the slotcover to the left, it's in the upper right corner (afair).

the background is (I already asked about that) that I have 2 older cards (a luna and a ps) with pcb rev 1.3 and a newer scope home with hw rev 1.4. together with the latter I can't see the additional ports. my extensions hw rev is also 1.3, so I guess that there could be a newer pcb release that runs with the newer cards. but this is unconfirmed by either cw and/or pz.

everytime somesone mentions that he or she owns an adat expansion I try to get my theory confirmed...
maybe you are the man
