VM-1242 ... a new 12-channel 4-bus mixer. (now @ v0.6)

Post by Shroomz~> »

Hello,

I'm proud to announce release beta v0.6 of a new mixer for Scope, the VM-1242.

The VM-1242 is a progression of the valve-based devices I've been building using Creamware's ECC83 emulation. It's a 12-channel 4-bus mixer. The 12 mixer channels each have a high shelving eq, 1-band parametric mid & a low shelving eq. The eqs are all stock Creamware with refined ranges and curves. It has 4 aux sends per channel. Sends 1&2 are mono pre fader. Sends 3&4 are stereo post fader. All 4 sends have stereo returns, each of which have low & hi shelving eqs.

Channel input gain attenuation is ranged from -3 to +12db. Each channel has a pre pan mono insert & all channels including aux returns & busses have a post fader stereo insert. There's a mute & solo per channel and also bus 1/2 & 3/4 buttons per channel. At the bottom, beneath the channel, aux & bus faders, there's a button for switching each of them on & off the mix. The mix has 6 pre fader stereo insert slots & is also fed to a monitor out & phones out, each with their own level control.

The VU source button on the analogue-style metering section switches between metering the Mix, Bus 1/2 & Bus 3/4.

I think that just about covers the basic specs, so without further ado ... here it is in the devices forum >>> http://www.planetz.com/phpBB2/viewtopic ... 922#169922

Hope you find it usefull
