Installer crashing

Post by craighuddy »

Trying to put Scope on a new PC and everytime I run the installer it crashes. It ran once and installed the drivers, after reboot it won't run again. I have uninstalled drivers and retried but it still crashes. I tried 4.0 and it crashes as well. Any ideas?

Figured it out.
The installer HAS to see a drive "C:"
My new macine had 3 SATA drives starting at "E"

I went into disk admin, named one of them "C"
and the installer ran fine.

damn, really? :)

maybe you could have plugged in an usb stick while installing, and assigned C: to it... ?!

more than likely,
As long as it sees a C drive, it was happy.

did you reassign the old driveletter afterwards? and if, does scope still run, anyway? :)
would be interesting...

yeah it seems to work OK, with one exception, but I don't think it's realted.

Scope complains about not finding a DSP file call P-Plate ASIO B. Obviosly the B channel ADAT ports on the Pulsar are not working either.

I will start another thread about that though.
