... yesterday, and I initially freaked out! Then I remembered I had actually been moving to a new place and the helpfull threads on this forums about this issue were fresh in mind (I enjoy reading about my CW gear). So I poped open the lid and pushed down my two Pulsar II cards towards the PCI-sockets, and surely one of them gave in some.
Started up an everything loaded fine again
