yeah but gpu chips are somewhat newer...did you test it? And how has been your experience with it so far?

Only found out about it this morning so I haven't had a chance to test it out as yet.
The chap makes an interesting point about the limitations of using GPU processing in that they are typically "very parallel", so cannot be used for any audio processing which requries a more linear approach.

I remember hearing something about the processor on the UAD-1 card originally being a GPU.
But what this guy is doing is something new, since it can run on your excisting graphics card. Very interesting indeed

Bionicfx released a reverb running on nvidia GPU in 2004. Their site is no longer registered though...
Petal, I also read that UAD-1 uses an overclocked GPU... So far for GPU not being adequate for audio processing, if that'd be true
