ive just installed a pci 2vs 280 graphics card(for 2 monitors)
now whenever i load more than a couple of effects and an instrument like pro 12 i get an error message "pci-master -overflow"
i went to the troubleshooting in the manual it said wherever possible use agp graphics cards....not possible i dont have an agp slot,it said change graphics properties from 32 bit to 16 bit true colour....i did that and there was a small change but the error still pops up randomly
i need this pci graphics card and i need my pulsar
would appreciate any help

tell me exactly, what motherboard you are using....
how many pci slots do you have and in which slots do you have the gfx and the scope card plugged in? maybe plugging the cards in different slots may solve your problems...
Some slots may use another bus and so you eventually won`t see your problems....
some more expensive boards have 2 busses... If you only have one bus, canging the slots won`t help.
For example some boards have slot 1 and 3 on bus 1
and slot 2 and 4 on bus 2. depends on motherboard layout....
If they sit on the same bus the data from your graphics card and the scope card have to share the bus and you`ll see your error.

your only option is to use the onboard graphic and add an external box for dual monitor support, the Matrox DualHead2Go, probably around 100 Euro, maybe cheaper since they have a triple screen out.
you have no chance at all to get rid of PCI overflows with a PCI graphcard, let alone a dual-head model

okay this is a relativly cheap consumer pc, I m sure the three pci slots utilizise the same pci bus, but you could try out to plug-in the grphics card into slot2, I`m relativly sure that it does not help, but it won`t cost you a cent to check it....
if that does not work check if you don`t get the overflows when you are using onboard graphics chip and plug out the additional graphics card?
if so, astros solution is the only possibility to get things working with your system.
Else you always can upgrade your system to a better one with an agp or pci-ex gfx card.....
