So I think that is all normal.
Tha only strange thing is the lack of advice after the CCard payment!!!

4PC + Scope 5.0 + no more Xite + 2xScope Pro + 6xPulsarII + 2xLunaII + SDK + a lot of devices (Flexor III & Solaris 4.1 etc.) + Plugiator.
well, how could you tell ?
it might be just your local internet connection that's taken a small break
as already mentioned (not that I want to bore anybody...)
a spam filter at the destination adress is only one part of filtering
internet service providers subscribe to so called 'blacklists' and don't route any traffic from a system that appears on such a list. If one of your provider's system happens to be listed or uses other (gateway) servers that are, then your mail is simply trashed on the way.
These configurations (may) change several times a day... and yet spam is at least 75% of all mail traffic, still
cheers, tom

it doesn't matter which browser you use - the browser depends on the system's network connection to the internet, and that is only one.
Sometimes it's overloaded, sometimes just a specific a part (like the DNS) is down, sometimes even physical damages happen (I remember last year they accidently cut through a broadband cable, 100 miles away... of course there wasn't a single data packet over the next 5 hours)
btw during the time you mention, planetZ was online here wo problems
here's a not too techie article about blacklist mailblocking, scroll to the middle of the page
cheers, Tom

hit me with a soft cushion for this one, but that's a true story:
- pressed the "order now" button at around 11:33
- got the billing confirmation email at 11:35:55
- got the allkeys file mailed by ralf at 11:50:06
the Body Of Ralf is more alive than ever
(and I'm sooo damn patient
)

I'm sorry, but my karma just ran over your dogma.

did you ask ralf whether the payment was successful, though? it seems more secure to me to ask before starting a new transaction. but hurry up, it's friday and in germany it's almost time to knock off...catscratch wrote:Thanks for the info Kylie. Something has just gone SNAFU with my order. I'm just going to do it again beore things go up another 10% and hope that I don't buy two of the same thing!

as you were told beforeastroman wrote:...it might be just your local internet connection that's taken a small break![]()
sorry for the inconvenience before the weekend, but you may check your provider if you depend on such connections.
You (usually) get what you pay for - and noone can magically squeze twice the bits through the same line for half the price...
the mail may arrive with delay, tho (if it has been sent)
cheers, tom
Just wanted to chime in here and say that astroman's word is as good as gold here to me. I was a green wet behind the ears kind of guy, and astroman, GaryB, not to mention a few others always gave me 100% accurate answers to my dumbkoff questions. So any advice from them is golden.
Remember,...He who has the gold,...makes the rules.

sorry catscratch, that wasn't directed at you personally.astroman wrote:..., but you may check your provider if you depend on such connections.

I got the impression that you're not too experienced with the technical items of internet transfer, and those (there's a myriad of elcheapo) providers usually promise the sky for nothing.
So how could you tell that you're fooled by them ? hence the hint
btw I also got what I paid for when I took that 35 Euro wah pedal home...
cheers, Tom
