weird issue

hi all! I have an issue with my 2 pulsar system. I recently upgraded to an intel DG965RY mobo with 6400 dual core cpu. I have 2 systems actually, one at my studio (asus p4p800 se w p4 2.8 ) and the other one is my home-based daw. In my studio, everything works fine, 2 pulsar and one luna working together without issues, but when I try to put my 2 pulsar boards in my other daw, this strange message appears: 'module of this type already loaded, and cannot add another z plate analog dest'... And the luna box connected to the zlink is messed up, lights flash in an erratic manner, the sfp os appears normal but I can't load anything on the dsps.

Now, I tried one card at a time and there is no problem at all, even with the zlink setup, it works flawlessly. Whats strange is that the same cards work in the other daw, but not when hooked together in my intel duo rig. I tried to swap the cards in different pci slots, but to no avail...

I'll continue troubleshooting but if you guys have any hints, I'll be grateful!

All the modules are relevant in the startup project, and even when they're not, sfp just gives a warning at startup and it works ok afterwards. I tried emptying the startup anyway, but it doesn't change a thing...

remove the zlink modules, replace them and save the project as startup. that should fix it.

I tried what you said Gary and it did not work, whenever the 2 cards are together in the box, it just doesn't work...

well, it seems to be fixed... not too sure why... it begun working ok again when I unplugged the spdif cable coming from my x-station... hmmm. Well, it works so I'm a happy chap! Thanks!
