PLus plate and classic plate interchangeable ?

Hi,
I wonder if you can just change the extension cable from a Plus plate to a classic plate ?
I have made a trade but thought that the plate would be needed too if you would wanna change from classic to PLUS.

As far as i remember they are NOT interchangeable.

no, the proper cable must be used with the proper plate.

Gary is right.

What makes the card a Plus is not the cable only.

it is the AES Chips (2 IC's are visible on the Plus Plate and labeled 1601 . B9916)

Those Balanced Chips do not exist on the Classic or the Zlink plate.
