Going Dutch? Good gig in Amsterdam

Post by BuzzBang »

Hi Fellow Z'ers

If you can get to Amsterdam for this weekend there's one hell of a gig on (if it's your type of music, psychadelic jazz / dance / general musical weirdness).

http://www.planetgong.co.uk/octave/spec ... dule.shtml

I suspect synth heads will have a very excellent wibbly wobbly time :P

People from 23 different countries will be making there to celebrate Gong's 40th. (And See Steve Hillage, Eat Static etc.)

love and peace

BuzzBang :D

PS Where can I order more brain cells in advance of this weekends battering?

Hey Buzzbang, I wish I could be there, as it's bound to be a great gig in Milky Way. Eat Static rock this planet, damn, I'm gettin' jealous...

The last time I was at an Eat Static gig in the Melkveg I was supposed to be out all night partying with friends then go home the following day with them. It all went pete tong when I met a stunning woman at our 2nd after-party of the all-nighter about 11am the following morning. Can't remember what time she took me home, but I didn't get home home till the following Tuesday.

Have a great time!!

Oily way.....

Always loved that stuff, my first psychedelic experiences had the Planet Gong as soundscape....I recently bought all the trilogy CD's , I still have the original vinyls.

I'd love to be there but I can't. damn!

Sorry for going wildly OT, but "Going Dutch" in Australia means "Each person on the date pays half the bill".

Is that a universal meaning, or just in Australia ?
