My setup:

Pc AMD 3000+ 2Gb Ram, Mobo Gigabyte K8NSC, Creamware Pulsar fx (6dsp)+ Scope 4.0, M-Audio Audiophile 192, Mbox + PT 7.1

Is there a ASIO conflict between your other cards?

What OS is that?

Arela: for bad connection you intend phisical problem connection? for the Asio is possible because I've another two card in my pc...

P.S: I've found that my Pulsar and my Screen Card (a Nvida 5600 card) have the same IRQ... probably can be that????

He's using a custom theme/skin voidar. Stylexp or perhaps the .mysstyles hack (hopefully not WB).

Shared IRQ is not a good idea. Only Scope-hardware should share.

So, the usual round of fixes to try for your situtation would be:

Simply try reseating the card(s) and any stdm cables you may have.

Clean the gold contacts of the card (and perhaps the pci slot) with cotton swaps and 99% isoprobyl alchohol (not grain alchohol and not 70% or less).

Check the voltages of your power supply using a software utility under NORMAL pc load (boot voltages my be different). Especially when trying to start scope.

Eliminate overheating as a factor, both for the card(s) and your system components (the latter should be obvious though).

Make sure the rest of the system is functioning completely normally and it is ONLY Scope having problems. I think SiSandra might have a trial version and there are other stress-test programs on the market.

Given the error you showed above my personal opinion on the most likely problems would be the Power Supply, poor PCI slot contact (the cleaning solution) or an unfortunate hardware failure in the cards.

So...... Now I'm working so I can't try your solution, but I remember the fact that if i disconnect the wi-fi usb pen, 2 time on 10 try Scope starts... in the other case never! So is it possible that is the power supply!

I would also suggest you go into your system BIOS (on boot) and disable unused devices, specifically COM & Parallel ports that you do not use.

I've disabilitated Serial and COM ports on BIOS.
I've tried to disconnect all the Usb peripherals I don't use or not important, but Scope starts 2-3 times ever 10 times.

The fact I've remember is that is not a fresh install of both Pulsar II & Scope but I've used it for 3-4 months and it works regularly.

Next step is to polish the contact and the PCI slot.

Disabling unused devices isn't going to fix your problem, it's just something that I recommend. I'm sorry you're having problems and I do hope you can fix it without resorting to contacting Creamware. At least if you do have to go to CW you'll have done some of the basic things they'll ask you to do.

Ok, I've put my Pulsar II on my old pc (an AMD 600 Mhz, 192 Mb RAM) and it seems to work very well. Now, I've to record eight tracks (a drum) in pro tools free... Anyone knows if is it possibile? I know that pt free doesn't work with ASIO. What i've to do in scope to record the signal from ADAT input of my Pulsar in PTfree?
