Technicaly great.

But the clip proves what a tragedy to humanity the 'idol' format is.

This is the real reason the music industry is dying.

The vocal gymnastics have supplanted composition and arrangement. You can't blame Idol. Even Simon Cowell has said the music on Idol is horrible (see fresh Air). No, the blame is not with the people at the top but all the little people who buy that crap and watch those stupid shows. Singers like politicians take advantage of an ignorant public.

Yes, singes and politicians are a confabulation of a secret order of terrific ideas... I can see that in their eyes, oh yes, and they both smell similarly.

Particularly when they eat garlic, which is “very” suspicious to me . They perhaps pertain to the next generation of X men.

What a shame, this beautiful voice is such a disgrace for humankind, how can she have such a charismatic expression, how can she dare to be so "musical", this is evil...

Brain, stop smoking that kind of weed...

You are right Nestor, McDonald's is fine food and should be spread over the entire world. The fact that so many people love to eat there proves this.

You are write Brain... (just to copy your start) the moon is there, and the Sun too, but who has spoken about them? I don’t eat rubbish... Don’t push people where they are not, as they say: “don’t put words in people's mouths”. Another good one says: “don’t mix magnesium with gymnasium”.

Back to the topic, she still has a beautiful, extremely expressive voice, period

braincell, isn't grudge about the music selection and the "Idol" format show, and not so much the vocalists themselves? I think nestor just meant that the vocalist has a nice voice and performs well. Probably not so much the underlying pop-craze and cheese and butter loving the whole "Idol" franchise implies. (which I agree to have a grudge against)

Still, seems unimportant whether it be another "Idol" show, or Asia Bagus, which was a similar Malay/Indonesian show 10 years ago. You do get pretty good amateur vocalists, although some of them are "professionally" trained, and the agencie try to use the contest as sort of a huge publicity stunt.

Beauty is in the ear of the be-hearer I guess

Personally, I was reminded of what happens when nails meet a blackboard. But then again, I like Geddy Lee's voice, so who's to say?

This thread is not really important, I mean, I have nothing to defend, I just found her voice absolutely amazing, and I whish I could record an album composing for such an amazing voice. Remember she is singing live and what you have heard is low quality. Imagine what you could do with such a voice in a studio...
