Hello,
I haven't had a chance to test all 16 outputs yet but I don't get any sound when I connect my monitor speakers to outputs 13 & 14. I've tested outputs 9 thru 16 and 13 & 14 are the only ones not working right now. It just seems like a very odd problem. Anyone else encountered such a problem before? Any thoughts on what might be causing the problem? Thanks.
running on:
Windows XP Pro SP2
ATi All-In-Wonder 9600
Power Pulsar + Pulsar 1 + Pulsar 1 SRB
SFP 4.5
Intel Pentium 4 3GHz CPU
2GB RAM
ASUS P4P800 Deluxe MB
Oh yes, 2 Z-Link cables. I have yet to test out connections 1-8. I'll probably get to that later on this evening and hoopefully all those are fuctioning as supposed to. I'll post the results once I find out.
Well, I've tested all 16 outputs of my A16 Ultra and it seems like outputs 13 & 14 are the only dead ones.
Any thoughts on how to get all 16 channels to work properly?
It seems the problem is not with A16 but with ControlRoom module. Apparently, no signal comes out through Output 5 of this software mixer. Is this a bug? Anyone else having this problem?
I've uninstalled SFP 4.5 & tried it out with Pulsar 3.0. The problem is still there. I suppose it is not the end of the world but it would be nice to have things of this sort work rather flawlessly to help with user confidence. I wonder if Creaware is aware of this issue with ControlRoom...assuming this is not an isolated occurence.
There are several workarounds in the meantime, one of which is using 2 control room modules, although there's probably a better workaround than that if you put your mind to it
Ah, thanks for all the replies. As I said before, I can work around it. It's not like I'm running out of DSP anytime soon for my projects. I just wanted to make sure it's not something that I've done that's causing the problem. I guess I'll just avoid that Output 5 of ControlRoom module until they come up with a permanent fix.
