automation in sfp with sx

hi everyone.
it's been a month since i discovered this forum and i must say that, i have learn much more than i did myself in the last two years about SFP.so thanks a lot to everyone.
now here's my question.
i am having troubles about automation in sx and sfp.
i've read this topic (http://www.planetz.com/forums/viewtopic ... forum=3&34)
which was very helpful and i managed to get my 01v working as a conroller too,but here's the problem(or am i missing something?)

while playing the audio i move a fader all the way down, all 3 mixers respond ok(sx-sfp-01v) and sfp mixer shows -7.5db.then i move the fader to 0db and this time sfp mixer shows -1.5 db.so this means the signal is affected with this move.and when i do an automation my compressor settings at the sfp mixer goes to trash because of the changing level.
is there a workaround for this?
also as i see many users do the automation with midi tracks.any topics on this one or can someone explain please..
