I shouldn't do it, it costs too much time, but I can't resist.

i made a selection of my pictures of the festival, did some manglings where the picture needed it, or when the quality was too low, and put them on the internet, this is the link:
http://www.ezsound.nl/huub/Photographes ... 202006.htm

The location, an abandonned 'communistic' military basis in North formerly East Germany, was superb, with those mega bunkers to climb on.

But it was more difficult to make pictures without drawing attention.
At the sunclipse festival in Turkey I could almost just do, everybody was making pictures, and if one looks into the sun he won't see anything of course

Doesn't matter of course, there's just a small different accent through out the pictures, tho I'm not sure really.

I organised the 'normal' and the edited pictures more or less randomly this time, as there isn't really much difference to my own feeling
When special Photoshop tricks are applied. I tried to serve the picture, not to change it wildly and without any reason.

Jst for those who like pictures, nothing serious

edit:
maybe a few words about the festival:
they present themselves as what they call 'communistic'.
Must be gabber language (translation not sure  ), at least it's meant as antikapitalistic or anti globalistic.

So entrance is presale € 30,-, camp included, eats and drinks are pleasantly priced, no security boys at the entrance, etc.

Most important thing to me was the fact that you hardly saw people making mobile phone calls
you know, those types in the middle of the dance floor? WHAT?

Also,on the campsite the atmosphere was extremely friendly for those who want to sleep on different times (like me indeed).

What I heard is, there were about 30.000 visitors, but if you look to the pictures you can see that there is plenty of space all over the place..
The festival area is maybe 2 kilometers square, not sure.
There's a real runway, marking the entrance, the bunkers are spread over the festival area.
In between are some mainstages, with different styles of dance.

Inside the bunkers often played hardcore bands, the name is Fusion, remember?
Must admit that I didn't check any of them
{Except then the woman who provided her own tracks from her labtop with fenomenal Hendrix-like guitar 'solo's, check the added picture  }.

You don't have that in overorganized Holland, that's why I feel the need to tell about it, I guess.

Press is friendly said not to be welcome, followed by an invention to come as a visitor, on them site it is.
That in a world where almost every festival organisation tries to rope the medea to a job, hehe

edit: made a new link to a smaller file of the same picture, instead of the link to the photo page which shows big, of course

looks like you work out your style with PS - well done
Imho you've met your goal to focus on the pic's content and emphasize what's already there.

cheers, Tom
ps: I have the same headlamp as the guitarist - a very convenient item (cable installation, working behind racks etc).
Unfortunately the on/off switch wears out quickly and you can only dispose the (otherwise still good) 30 Euro item...

thanks Tom
and Alfonso, glad you saw what I mean

I also bought one, those are led lamps isn't it?
I have the smallest I could find, it's one that uses batterie cells, two pieces.
I like small, and it was cheaper than your's, € 23,-

I made about 190 pictures, and I choose about 80 to show.
Not one of the others I would like to be seen, except three of them, which I will upload one of these days

How relaxed those vibes are, ¿did the music sound well in such an open environment? I guess it did, but just wondering about how they have disposed the boxes for everybody to be involved with the music. Was it too loud to be able to achieve this?

no, it wasn't too loud
Open air floors always sound pleasant, as you don't have unintended reflections.
You sure can take distance to the main sound boxes to your convenience, but the basic volume is (was) well balanced to the floor size.
Goa-like parties are known for the terribly good sound systems btw., also in develloping countries like Greece or Turkey (if you know what I mean)

the party area was huge (2 kilometers or so), so every small or bigger stage was on it's own, so to say
The bunkers were different of course, but the sound systems were good in there also.

In fact, the area was so open and vast that you always and everywhere could find your way.
A lot of the typical 'chill' pictures by daylight were placed at the borders of the dance floors, so it was very relaxed.

These type of festivals -and me too in the meanwhile- seem to avoid those heavily crowded type of dance environments
